Here's the young looking band (featuring the bands founder, Rockin Johnny Phantom on bass) attempting to play 20th Century Boy by T-Rex. Actually it doesn't sound too bad considering the Phantoms formed only two weeks prior to this, their debut gig. *NEW* The Phantoms first gig, 280600, Baby One More Time Another ultra rare clip of the Phantoms debut gig at the Marquee in Feltham on 28th June 2000. Possibly an ironic choice of song to try at your first ever gig after only two weeks rehearsal! 2001 *NEW* The Phantoms, Feltham Marquee, 290601, Denis A year after their debut gig the gargantuan new look 7 piece Phantoms (with founder member John replaced by Paul & Helen) played their third gig again at the Feltham Marquee on 29 June 2001. This clip captures the highlight of the evening, Brians first ever performance of 'Beautiful Day' by U2. Listen out for his local twist on the words in the middle 8 (that's the quiet bit half way through)! Here's the emotional finale of the Phantoms phinal gig of the decade. Filmed on 5th Dec 2009 at the Grey Horse in Kingston, it's your phavourite covers band performing 'All I Know' by Angelfield, a song written by the sadly departed ex Phantom, Brian Spencer. Thanks to Bri's sister Lynne for helping out on the vocals (nice t-shirt Lynne!). As if Paul's intro wasn't moving enough, stay tuned for the outro. We will indeed meet again... (7.00) Phantom Related... 'Newton' by ANGELFIELD Underwater-indie-rock of the very highest calibre. 'Hey Newton!' That's all. *NEW* Angelfield, The Golden Age, featuring Brian Spencer Brian Spencer, 1961-2009. He was a hugely talented songwriter and musician. And a good friend. Brian has left behind a rich legacy of songs and lyrics. A few lucky folk will have cherished memories of seeing him perform his music live in front of an audience. And some might listen to recordings of his music and maybe for a little while it will seem like he hasn't gone at all. *NEW* Al Phantom (& Lizzi) at Glasto in Little Boots backing band One minute we were popping backstage (The John Peel stage at Glastonbury 09) to use the loo, the next we were live on TV playing in Little Boots backing band! Fantastic! Al Phantom on drums & Lizzi on the keys (nice wellies!). *NEW* The Phantoms, Lead Singer Audition #1 Its March 2000 and auditions are in full swing at the Red Lion in Twickenham to find a lead singer for the newly formed Pheltham Phantoms. Here's Beasts attempt to sing Dizzy by Vic Reeves. Needless to say, he didn't get the job! Thankfully this is only the first minute of his performance. We didn't think you could take any more! *NEW* The Phantoms, Lead Singer Audition #2 Let me entertain yow! Here's a short snippet of Gossers audition for lead singer of the newly formed Pheltham Phantoms. Recorded in March 2000 at the Red Lion in Twickenham singing Let Me Entertain You by Robbie Williams.
