John's Rock
Family Tree.
| The
Insects 1989
to 1991. Godawful folkpunk band. Played about 3 gigs and produced 2 demo tapes. "Let sleeping dogs lie" is all John Skittles has to say. |

The Charles Napiers 1991 to date.Named after a B-movie porn actor, the ‘Napiers’ have been peddling their unique brand of ‘instro-mental’ chaos throughout Europe for the past decade. Inspired by the likes of ‘Link Wray’ and ‘The Sonics’, through to the sounds of John Barry and Henry Mancini, this is the place to stop if you’re looking for the best in sixties spy, surf and fuzz sounds. Original band members Clive Pearman and Danny O’Brien left in 1995 and 2001 respectively. Check out the www for more info. |

The Diaboliks 1995 to 2001.Their last album title ‘Three Furburgers and a Chilli Dog to Go’ says it all. The Diaboliks brazen beat punk sounds saw them play everywhere from Oslo to Las Vegas. Originally consisting of 3 trashy dames and 1 seedy fella, the final year saw John Skittles replace French bassist Lydia who was kicked out for being "too bleeding annoying". |

The Million Lire Quartet 1997 to date. This four piece rockabilly combo have seen a lot of line up changes but are still knocking out great rockin tunes. Lawdy Miss Clawdy! Also, in disguise as ‘The Elves’, the band played a Christmas bash in 2001 with the aid of Wild Billy Elf on vocals. |
