#67. The Grey Horse Pub, Kingston. 4.10.14.
Itís hard to believe that itís been 5 years this year since Bri
sadly died so the time was right to mark the occasion with a gig
celebrating his music & the songs he loved. Cue an evening of
interpretations of Angelfield classics & Briís fav covers
performed by bands & artists that all had a connection to him.
As one of Briís close friends once saidÖ "Brian left behind a
rich legacy of songs and lyrics. A few lucky folk will have
cherished memories of seeing him perform his music live in front
of an audience. And some might listen to recordings of his music
and maybe for a little while it will seem like he hasn't gone at
With those words in mind, people travelled from far & wide for
the rare chance to hear Brianís songs played live one more time.
So thanks to The Phantoms (old & new), Mere Trix & The Beautiful
Losers for providing the music & the stories and a huge thanks
to all of you that came along, raised a glass (or two) to our
departed friend and enjoyed hearing his songs once again!
ďWe cannot guarantee long life, but we give you all our loveĒ
