A long day's journey into night... or so it seemed for da phants as they stood outside Al's place at 2AM apres le gig to watch two (!!!) ambulances dash one of our extended entourage off to hospital with possible neck injuries. Thankfully it turned out to be nothing more than a whack on the head, tho Al's carpet now looks like a murder scene! Anyhoo - The Gig!! Most pleasing - there was much solstice love in the air with up 'n' coming young talent Fit For Purpose delivering a blazing indie/rock set. And thus the stage was set for the nu-look phants to deliver (on their ground breaking 10th appearance at the Grey Horse). What with our groovy new bootylicious freaky dancer busting her wild dervish moves from the off, the ever increasing crowd were soon bopping along. And it got very hot. With the first set done 'n' dusted, da phants and crowd briefly re-hydrated before returning to the fray (with the aircon thankfully now switched on)! Ooooooh it was lovely and kool, everything was beautiful, man.
