All box office records were smashed when the Phantoms
returned to their 'phavourite venue' for the first gig of 2006! A
big crowd turned up 'early doors' to see the Woodcut Process deliver a
great support set full of crowd pleasers (the Proclaimers, fantastic!)
and just when you thought it wasn't physically possible to jam any more
people into the venue the Phantoms took to the stage.
An eventful night then ensued with crazed phans invading the stage, the
amusing 'droopy' mic stand (where are the roadies when you need them?)
and the lead singer coming close to stage diving (aptly during 'I
Predict a Riot')! Thankfully we remembered how to play all the old
songs, the new songs went down a storm and the masses made the most
noise ever witnessed by a crowd at a Phantom gig! You really did 'look
good on the dancefloor'!
