Saturday 12th June saw the band (minus Jon!) appearing at a private party at Dukes Meadows in Chiswick. The pre gig rumours of a brief band reunion also proved correct with Helen (the Jazz Diva) joining the boys on stage (well, the carpet!) for the whole show. A few of the hard core Phantom Phans also managed to sneak in despite being told that volunteering to be part of the band's road crew would involve lugging our gear around, driving the mini bus and buying us drinks all evening. Well, as it turned out, they didn't have to buy us drinks as the birthday girl layed on the booze (& strawberries!) all night. Fantastic! After the gig our new tambourine player went on to say that he now considers the Phantoms to be his favourite band and that we were much better than Blue & Busted put together! He was also particularly impressed that we knew the music from Shrek!!
