Booking FAQs  
Q - What will it cost to hire a band? A - Prices vary depending on the number of musicians, the location of the venue and the length of time the band are required to perform.  Travel cost and expenses, including accommodation costs if necessary will be included. Contact the Jazz Artists Direct office to get a no obligation quote.
Q - How far in advance do I need to book a band? A - Please give as much notice as you can.  Booking early means that you are more likely to get the band or musician you want.  Some of the musicians need at least 3 months notice, especially if you are planning an event in the height of summer, or the Christmas and New Year's season.
Q - Will the band take requests for particular songs? A - Absolutely!  Please provide any special requests at least 4 weeks before the event date to give the musicians time to incorporate them into their set list. Sometimes a band will take requests during the event if they are familiar with the song.
Q - What if I have to cancel a band I've booked? A - You cannot cancel the contract at any time without incurring a 50% cost of the booking fee. If the contract is cancelled less than 30 days before the event a 100% cancellation fee applies. Full details are listed on our Terms & Conditions provided with your Booking Confirmation.
